Cross Country Runs at Midwestern Stampede

Women are 4th, Men 6th

WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Northwestern Oklahoma State cross country competed Thursday evening at the Midwestern State Stampede.

The men placed sixth out of seven teams, led by Jordan Evans’ 32nd place finish. Evans covered the 5600 meter course in 19:39.38. East Central won the team competition.

The women finished fourth out of six teams. Paige Little covered the 4000 meter course in 16:26.96 to finish 28th. Midwestern State captured the team title by sweeping the top five spots in the race.

The Rangers run again on Saturday, Sept. 8 in the East Central University Tiger Chase. The races begin at 10:10 a.m. in Ada, Okla.
